SCCI is a Student Conference on Communication and Information that is held annually, organized under the auspices of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University.

The idea of the conference was put three years ago by senior student "Islam Erfan" to address the problem of the gap between technical studies and the real life.

Then,it was greatly encouraged by the faculty dean Dr Reem Bahgat and closely supervised by Dr. Amr Kamel. Its objectives were successfully met after long months of devotion and hard work from both the academic and organizing committees.
